Course Description

<p>This course teaches Network Rail Signallers how to operate and apply the Luminate Traffic Management System. (Luminate).<br /> This system was introduced as part of the Digital Railway Programme, to support more efficient service recovery and more use of available infrastructure.<br /> Learners will understand how the system enables staff to make informed planning and re-planning decisions, in conjunction with other data sources such as ITPS for timetable information, TRUST arrival time forecasts and IECC Scalable for train<br /> movements and positional information.</p>

Audience

Signallers who use the Luminate Traffic Management system in their local area of control. This course is for competent Signallers, who have completed and passed Initial Signaller Training (IST).
